Why your phone number during registration

So what happens?

Once you fill out all fields (mobile number included) and click the registration button, a security code will be send directly to your mobile phone so as to validate your registration.

Enter that code and your registration will be validated.

Afterwards, you can go to your general profile settings and delete your mobile number.
