King Macareus (or Macar) – one of the Heliadae!

In this video we talk about the famous Macareus (or Macar) – one of the Heliadae, ruler of the island Lesbos and a son of god Helios and the goddess Rhodos!
We start of by generally outlining his family tree and from there we explore his various stories throughout Ancient Greece Mythology and History.
Afterwards, we look into how his existence has affected history (especially the Ancient Greek and the Roman history) etc. On top of that, we also present various versions of her story that may not be so well known to most people.
